Shawn White
Pastor Shawn has served as the pastor of First Baptist Church Woodland Mills since 2022. He is passionate about preaching God’s Word, shepherding people, and helping individuals and families grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Shawn answered God’s call to ministry several years ago and has a heart for sharing the Gospel, encouraging believers, and reaching the community with the love of Christ. His desire is to see people come to know Jesus, grow in their faith, and find their place in God’s kingdom work. Shawn and his wife, Heather, have been married for over 13 years and are blessed with four children. Together, they are committed to serving the Lord and investing in the lives of others through the ministry of First Baptist Church Woodland Mills. When he’s not serving in ministry, Shawn enjoys spending time with his family, working out, being outdoors, and building relationships within the community.

Luke Parker
Earning his Bachelor of Music in Theory and History from the Swinney Conservatory of Music (CMU), Luke sees how the Spirit prepared him for his calling to serve at FBC-WM. Luke loves using the arts to give glory to God, and he is passionate about helping others discover their gifts and use them in the local church with joy and excellence. Luke, together with his wife Sara, have five children, all adults: Twins, Zach and Mason, Jayden, Caleb, and Riley. Caleb ministers alongside his dad, playing the piano at Woodland. Luke and Sara have been blessed with four amazing grandchildren: Amias, Bloom, Sophia Jo, and Leena. Sara serves as an RN at our local hospital. Luke enjoys photography and a stiff iced Americano with cream and caramel. Together, Sara and Luke enjoy cruises and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. Having both been previously widowed, Luke and Sara each have a heart to minister to those dealing with loss.
